Terms of Service
Last updated
These terms cover the Saffron website and our AI and software development services. Please read them before working with us.
Our Services
Saffron builds custom AI agents, workflow automation, document systems, integrations, internal tools, and AI-native software. Each engagement starts with a written agreement covering scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees. These terms apply to an engagement when incorporated into that agreement; the agreement takes priority if they conflict.
Payments & Changes
Payments are due as agreed in writing. Changes to scope, timing, or fees require mutual agreement. You may request a pause, cancellation, or change in scale; notice, payment for work completed, and any refunds follow the project agreement and applicable law. Ongoing support, hosting, and third-party costs are included only where expressly agreed.
Your Responsibilities
Provide accurate information, timely feedback, and the access needed for the work. You must have permission to share any data, content, or systems you provide. Use our website and deliverables lawfully, without infringing others' rights, bypassing safeguards, or disrupting services. Delayed inputs or approvals may affect delivery dates.
Ownership & Confidentiality
You retain ownership of your existing materials. Ownership and licensing of project deliverables are set out in the project agreement. Pre-existing tools and third-party components remain with their respective owners and are subject to their licences. Both parties must protect confidential information and use it only for the engagement, except where disclosure is legally required. Any necessary data-processing terms are agreed separately.
AI & Third-Party Services
We work with reasonable care and skill, but AI outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete. Review outputs and keep appropriate human oversight for important decisions. We do not guarantee specific business results or uninterrupted, error-free operation. External models, APIs, and platforms have their own terms, availability, and pricing, which may change.
Liability
For business engagements, where permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the services giving rise to the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses. These limits do not apply to fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or statutory rights that cannot legally be limited.
Updates & Contact
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version here. Updates do not change an existing project agreement unless both parties agree. For questions about these terms or an engagement, contact your Saffron project representative or book a conversation through our website.
